Air Cooled Heat Exchangers
Armstrong’s air cooled heat exchangers can be made with either light-duty core designs that are predominantly employed in the institutional sector, or with heavy-duty industrial pressure parts, as used in the 6000 Series. You can choose between a direct drive fan and a belt drive fan. Fan sizes range from 25 cm to 122 cm (10 in to 48 in). At 870 or 1,150 RPM, several direct drive fans are frequently employed.

Base Mounted Tank Heaters
Armstrong offers tank warmers in three common configurations:

All units can be built using seamless carbon steel pipes. Stainless steel is an option for both the hairpin and bayonet versions. There are also liquid-heated units and unique designs available.

Door heaters are designed to deliver air at a suitable temperature and velocity (outlet velocity exceeding 2,000 FPM) to moderate entering air and reduce cold air intrusion. We can utilize our unit heaters as door warmers to warm the chilly air coming in via open loading-dock doors by fitting them with a high-velocity nozzle. Units can be used in various plant areas with different heating media because cores for steam or liquid are available.
Duralite Plate Fin Liquid Coils

Duralite Plate Fin Steam Coils
The Centifeed (steam-distributing tube-type), Standard (opposite-end connections), and Two-Row Return-Bend constructions of Armstrong DuraliteTM plate fin steam coils are all available. The standard material for Centifeed, Standard, and Return-Bend coils is 0.625′′ OD tubes. As an alternative, one-row coils with 1′′ OD tubes are offered.
Long Centifeed coils may need steam to be supplied from both ends, depending on the steam flow, to avoid cold tube ends and the risk of freezing.
Duramix Face and By-Pass Heating Coils
